What is Bikko? 'Bikko' means 'lame' or 'cripple' in Japanese. Bikko.Net however is the largest website dedicated in cyclists ... that is hosted on our servers. Seriously, Bikko is a hobby site run by avid cyclists who happen to also be software geeks (and beer drinkers, though that pretty much goes without saying) and were looking for cycling tools that don't suck. So we started building this site with the idea of doing better.
Bikko is focused on providing tools to track rides, performance, and ultimately providing the best route guidance and suggestions available. We are still very much in the early stages but wanted to open it up so we can get feedback and suggestions from any many people as interested. One improvement at least is that Bikko is free and free of advertising. Like we said, this is a hobby.
We periodically organize group rides around Austin and the Hill Country, from short weekend rides (30-40 miles) to full weekend tours of 150+ miles. If you want to join us, find us on Google+ at the links below.
